Can Hypnosis Cure Acne?

The skins is a very delicate organ, one in which is exposed to many hardships throughout the day. Toxins, sunlight over exposure, cosmetics, dirt, grime - all dirty enemies to the epidermus. The result of all this mess? Well, you basically get a mess.
Acne, one of the leading causes of skin complaints, can flare up without notice, and reak havoc anywhere it goes. How can this happen, what can we do to prevent it, and what can we do to get beautiful clear skin? Is there a way to build our skin into a beautiful, clear, living and breathing organ in a natural and healty way?
This is a question I get very excited about, because I am usually at the forefront when it comes to learning new things about natural beauty techniques and remedies. I love to figure out new ways to incorporate home recipes, visualization and hypnosis techniques, and breathing exercise into providing better health and brightness to the skin.
I have also developed hypnosis CDs and subliminal programs designed to better the skin's appearance, all of which have worked wonders for me and my clients. However, you are probably reading this article to find out what you can do NOW in order to take control of your skin.
First and foremost, let me start off by reminding you of the basics of good skin care, beauty, and health in general:
- Exercise! Exercise rejuvinates the cells by releasing human growth hormone, which is a key hormone to slow the signs of aging. It is also important to regulate other hormones that may interact with your skin. You also get a healthy supply of blood flowing throughout your body, and healthy blood flow to your skin will keep your skin feeling and looking fresh, young, and clean.
- Hydrate! Yep, a good H20 will do the trick. By making sure your body is well hydrated throughout the day, you are ensuring that all your cells have enough energy to perform their tasks. Adequate amount of water will also keep the skin soft and supple, and will help clear your body and skin of toxins, which play a role in acne.
- Breathe! I really shouldn't be shouting, but it's just so exciting (well, for me, anyway). Breathing correctly, deeply and evenly, esures your body and your skin is supplied wth ample amount of oxygen to give your cells energy, and to clear your body of toxins. This corresponds with water, but also helps aid in keeping your mind quick and sharp.
- Visualize! Now this one I should be shouting, because it often goes undone. Visualization is an important step in developing anything - any goal, dream or desire. Without vision, we have no direction, and without direction we have no motivation, and without motivation, we have no action. Without action, we get nowhere. I also believe that with visualizing your skin being clear, and the cells doing everything they need to do to keep your skin healthy, strong and clearn, your cells respond to these thoughts, and work toward what messages you are sending them. In fact, I don't only believe this, but, thanks to expanding research in the current field of epigenetics, we have found that every cell in our body responds to our thoughts.
- Reduce Stress. Ok, this one I will not shout, because it might make you more stressful. Breakouts and skin irrations usually occur at the onsite of stress, and too much stress can create havoc for our skin (not to mention the health of our entire body). Try reducing stress using meditation, hypnosis or deep breathing techniques. You can also try a warm shower, a hot drink (non stimulating, of course), or any other technique that make syou feel calm and at ease. This will greatly impact your skin in the most profound and healthy way.
These points, combined with the appropriate facial cleansing routines, will profoundly increase the health an beauty of your skin, and not to mention your entire body. Try these tips and techniques and see what works. You might be pleasantly surprised that along with the benefits of clearer and healthier skin, you whole self becomes happier, younger, healthier, and more beautiful as well.
