How to Destress Your Life: Natural Stress Management
There are so many stresses in our everyday lives these days that we often find it hard to cope throughout our day to day interactions with others, and also find it hard to find solace within oneself.
Many people turn to hypnotherapy and self hypnosis for stress and stress management. Being able to go into trance is a release for people who experience high and low stresses in their lives, and it provides their minds with the renewed sense of peace and euphoria.
Work, kids, family, grocery shopping, errands, chores, cooking, cleaning - whew! How you stay so busy, I will never know! But you can be sure that stress will affect you more than once in your lifetime, as you are already aware. Stress is not a terrible thing, as moderate amounts of stress can help motivate you to finish projects quicker and with more precision.
However, frequent exposure to stress and stressful situations can lead to:
- Adrenal Fatigue
- Impaired Digestion
- Increased signs of aging
- Compromised immune system
- Slower wound healing
- Depression
All of these are definately things in which you do NOT what in your life, affecting your body and the health of your mind. You want to be clear headed, happy, feeling young and alive, and being successful in every way. So, how can you achieve an "almost" stress-free life? I'm glad you asked!
You can, as mentiond above, use self hypnosis for stress release, as well as subliminal messages for reducing stress. However, there are other healthy ways in which you can burn off the stress you have experienced during the day, week, and month. These include:
- Exercise Exercise is one of the greatest drugs in the world. It helps release "feel good" hormones called endorphin, and another called seratonin. These hormones can also be stimulated with hypnosis, but combinging the two will provide you with fantastic results.
- Diet Make sure you are eating as many whole, unprocessed foods as possible. Many additives, preservatives, and pesticides in conventional food today can serve for a host of health problems, one of which includes depression and increased stress and anxiety. A good way to stick to a diet plan, by the way, is through hypnosis and subliminal affirmations.
- Do Something You Love By doing something that makes you happy, you are reconnecting the parts of your brain that stimulate happiness and joy within you. This is very important at reconnecting and aligning yourself with love, happiness, and the desire to live a healthy and fulfilled life.
- Breathe Whenever you feel a stressful situation arising, don't forget to breathe. More often than not, when we become anxious or scared, we forget to breathe normally. By breathing normally, we relax and are more comfortable with the world around us. Take deep breaths in through your nose, and deep, cleansing breaths out through your mouth. A wonderful yoga/meditation/hypnosis technique that will serve you well.
- Protein Eat an adequate amount of protein, as this helps regulate the seratonin in your brain
- Spend Time in Nature This usually relaxes most people, and through this relaxation your stress will naturally dissolve.
If you are still in need of extra help, you can absolutely try hypnosis! Hypnosis, meditation, and subliminal programs all help you react to stress in a totally different way, and offers you amazing health benefits as well (such as better breathing, better concentration, stress reduction, etc.).
